VENUS & JUPITER RETROGRADE: THE END OF THE BEAR MARKET RALLY?!
VENUS RETROGRADES:
On Wednesday May 13th at 2:45 P.M. EDT until June 25th at 2:48 A.M. EDT the planet of love and money begins its backward run. Because this retrograde takes place entirely in Gemini Venus will spend an extraordinary amount of time in the sign of the twins. This gives us all an extended opportunity to examine our relationships with important people and with our attitude towards our finances. Venus entered Gemini on April 4th and it doesn’t leave until August 7th, an unusually long time in one sign. This placement creates a more cerebral attitude towards romance and friendship, and it allows us to think these issues through. If you are in any type of relationship that seems shaky or that you question its validity, you have some time to make up your mind. There’s no reason to rush to judgment. This will also produce the duality Gemini is known for and you may find that you change your mind several times before this transit completes. Romance will be better served with mental stimulation than with candy and roses. You may also find that you are more interested in your finances than usual and may wish to learn more about how to handle your money. That is always good advice and a class in financial planning or how to trade stocks wouldn’t be a bad idea.
With both Venus and Jupiter retrograding now we should be seeing a downturn in the equities and some very bad news come out. These are considered the benefic planets and each is known to favor financial and personal situations. When they are in retrograde it is usually a bearish sign for the markets. This is especially true of Jupiter’s backward motion. It won’t be a straight line down, but a seesaw of ups and downs over the coming weeks. I am posting these 2 back to back as together they will be creating an atmosphere of negative financial input. This doesn’t mean that this period has to be negative for you as an individual. In fact when planets retrograde they offer us an opportunity to internalize the energy of that planet and explore its deeper meaning. This will be a period of reflection about your most intimate connections and a chance to see just what you value most. Certainly it will have an effect on money and our ongoing struggle with the economy, but there are other issues in life besides our pocketbooks. This is a chance to reiterate your value system and remember what we hold dearest. It isn’t by accident that many states are virtually being forced to reopen prematurely. I think we will all have to reevaluate what’s most important. And that’s just what is about to happen.
