MERCURY OPPOSES JUPITER:
On Thursday May 30th at 11:12 P.M. EDT things will move very quickly. Today there is a desire to express yourself at times without thinking things through. While this is a very optimistic and outgoing transit that can be very sociable and pleasant, it also can create problems with Jupiter’s tendency to overdo things. If you can slow your mind down and take a moment before responding, this will be a positive and very active day. You can get a lot done and work long hours without exhausting your mind. But because of the speed with which ideas will come to you, it’s quite possible to burn out and say things that perhaps would be best kept inside. A little patience would help a great deal, but unfortunately Jupiter doesn’t usually curtail its actions and patience may be in short supply. Use this opposition to your advantage. People will tend to be outgoing and gregarious and you should be able to discuss things in an open and honest way. But if your natal Mercury is heavily aspected and you tend to speak without filtering things you may be wise to put some effort into controlling that tendency or else you might expose more than you had meant to. This is a good day for any socializing or for important conversations as long as you keep the above in mind and pay heed to the tendency to speak without forethought. This can also be a good day for travel, although the same warning holds true. Pay attention to what you’re doing and don’t be in a hurry.
