MERCURY CONJUNCTS NEPTUNE:
On Sunday March 24th at 1:26 P.M. EDT this difficult aspect returns because of the Retrograde motion of Mercury. We experienced this on Tuesday February 19th at 1:37 A.M. EST and we can expect a similar day when confusion reigns supreme. This is what I wrote on February 19th:
This is a foggy and difficult aspect for all communications. You need to be very careful and double check all emails or texts before you send them. Mistakes and misunderstandings are common and you may not realize it until later. You must use care when traveling. Because of the potential for errors you could show up for your plane or train only to discover that you misread the time of departure. When driving you must stay aware of what’s happening around you. Errors in judgment are common, and it may not be you who makes the mistake but the person in the car in front of you. So drive defensively. This is not a good time to overindulge in alcohol or other substances. There is a good chance of things getting out of control and you may not react well to the ingestion. This is especially true if this aspect hits your chart.
Despite the above warning this can be a day when you can reach profoundly into your inner self and get in touch with the more compassionate side of your personality. It’s not a very easy aspect for dealing with the material world, but it can show you a path towards deep understanding and empathy. Open your heart and give what you can to those around you. You may not know it, but most people are lonely and scared, and while many will not admit it, they are pleased when someone offers a hand. Reach out to your loved ones, and even to those you pass on your journey. If you can, offer a little help. Give some change to those less financially fortunate; or a smile to those who are empty. Need comes in many forms, and so does generosity.
