MONTHLY SINCE 1999
ISSUE # 198
November – December 2015
I want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday week. Thanksgiving is a unique celebration of life with no dogma attached – just the love of food and good friends. This year there are several difficult aspects during that period, so use caution when traveling, and it will be important to keep a sense of humor about things. But have fun, and share your good feelings with those you love.
On Thursday November 26th, Thanksgiving Day, we will finally see the Saturn – Neptune square complete for the first time. Those of you who follow my newsletter know that IÕve been writing about this aspect for the past year. It is the most powerful underlying energy we are dealing with at the moment, and itÕs important to pay attention to whatÕs going on around us. First of all, the stock markets are doing just what IÕve said they will do. They have been moving sideways for the past year, but with a decidedly bearish tint. The DOW is just where it was a year ago. Remember that the markets move up about 80% of the time, and stocks are the most prominent way that Americans create wealth. Sideways motion doesnÕt create anything but anxiety. China has slowed down. Europe is dealing with its already existing ongoing economic problems now coupled with the influx of millions of refugees. How well they can absorb this tremendous flood of humanity remains to be seen. But IÕm doubtful that they will be able to do so without serious issues for the Euro, which is already in trouble. And how many of these refugees are in fact Isis plants waiting to create havoc in their adopted countries? Only time will tell. But that would be a perfect manifestation of this square when things arenÕt quite what they seem. South American economies are in the doldrums, as BrazilÕs bubble has popped and ArgentinaÕs currency remains terribly shaky. We are facing a worldwide recession. Many financial experts see the writing on the wall and expect us to enter recession in 2016. I agree. How bad it will be will depend upon a number of things, especially national policies not just here, but in Europe, China, Brazil, etc.
The Saturn – Neptune square creates an atmosphere of confusion and disbelief. Our reality (Saturn) is being besieged by unreality (Neptune). The end result is a foggy mess with the boundaries between the two unclear. We are seeing the effects throughout the world. Of course the stock markets are moving sideways, as I expected. There is a global showdown that is being offset by actions from the FEDS, as well as other nations. There is only so much that a low interest rate can accomplish. Eventually if growth stops there will be a price to pay. Recessions are a symptom of capitalismÕs worst problem. Every year has to be bigger than the year before or we consider it a failure. That is simply untenable in the long run. And so, we suffer periodic breakdowns. The fact that these recessions and depressions are directly linked to astrology, specifically SaturnÕs influence, allows the enlightened to make decisions long in advance. But this too has a limited effect. The knowledge that rough times are coming doesnÕt help if you are caught up in the downward spiral.
The situation in Syria continues to deteriorate, with Russia and Iran taking a more active position. We are once again seeing the world drawn into a quagmire that will have dangerous results. With the Saturn – Neptune square in full force there is no end to the misdirection, and mistakes are going to be plentiful this coming year.
The inner planets will aspect a number of outer planets this month creating much interaction between the personal and the collective. Many of us will get caught up in situations that we are not directly a part of. ThatÕs what happens when events are larger than the individual. Mars will enter its detriment in Libra where it will square Pluto, sextile Saturn, and opposes Uranus. ItÕs important to stay conscious of these aspects and handle them in the best way possible. Awareness will make the difference between inconvenience and potential trouble. When Mars is in conflict with Pluto and Uranus you must attempt to sidestep those harsh issues that you can, and be ready to confront those you canÕt, in a productive and open manner.
Venus has also just gone into Libra and it will create the same aspects to Saturn, Pluto, and Uranus. While the Venus aspects tend to be less dangerous than Mars, they can still be confrontational and should be respected and handled with equal awareness. We can expect some rather intense encounters in our more personal relationships. While some of these transits may produce tension and stress, they are offering us all an opportunity to make some deep rooted changes in how we interact. It is the release of pressure that creates most change. So embrace the conflicts, and seek resolution. You may be able to move a relationship to a new height.
And now, what many of you have been waiting for. The winner of the 2016 presidential election isÉ HILLARY CLINTON. My apologies to my Republican friends, but I just donÕt see a change in party leadership. And Hillary will most certainly gain the nomination.
The New Moon falls on Wednesday November 11th at 12:47 P.M. EST at 19 degrees Scorpio 01 minutes. Every New Moon is an opportunity to begin anew, rejuvenate the energy from the last waning lunar cycle, and aim our attention towards the future. Our lives consist of cycles within cycles. Some last eons, others last a day. The monthly cycle is one that our culture fully embraces. Much of our lives revolve around the monthly issues of bills, rent, etc. We use the lunar phase to mark time and judge our movement. So, wherever the New Moon falls within the astrological calendar it is working within that monthly cycle. Scorpio is the sign that rules the 8th house of death and rebirth. An underappreciated sign it is where we rejuvenate and refresh ourselves. Certainly there is an intense, some would say, destructive side to Scorpio, which we have all experienced. But it comes from a desire to transform and replenish. And it often knows exactly what has outlived its usefulness, thus allowing a pruning to take place and give room for new growth. That is may at times accomplish this in a harsh manifestation shouldnÕt be an excuse to ignore the fact that some things simply have outlived their usefulness and should be removed. You must prune a garden or there will be no new growth. That is exactly what Scorpio energy does.
MARS ENTERS LIBRA:
On Thursday November 12th at 4:41 P.M. EST Mars enters the sign of its detriment. This is a Venus ruled sign where aggressive Mars can be overwhelmed by the receptive quality. Libra looks for balance. Mars looks for dominance. When the Martian energy is restricted it tends to withdraw and internalize, rather than projecting out into the world. As such, when it travels through this sign many of us will feel its constraint and limitations and find it more difficult to express our own ego and assertiveness. On December 4th, Venus will enter Scorpio, one of the signs Mars rules, creating a mutual receptivity and allowing us to make use of the reversal of positions these two planets will be experiencing. Until that date you should not expect to have your usual oomph and may have to circumvent situations that you would normally face head on.
VENUS SEXTILES SATURN:
On Friday November 13th at 12:12 P.M. EST a very realistic approach to relationships will prevail. This aspect only lasts a few hours, but its energy can be used quite successfully to review your most intimate connections and analyze how well they are doing. This is also a good time to create a budget or view business deals with scrutiny. It isnÕt a very flamboyant or exciting transit, but it can be productive. Look at things with a clear and honest perspective, including that most illusive and unrealistic issue: love. You can clean up some unsettling problems and set things on a better, more secure course.
MERCURY SEXTILES JUPITER:
Also on Friday November 13th at 1:18 P.M. EST this optimistic and expansive aspect will coincide with the Venus sextile Saturn mentioned above. While that aspect has a down-to-earth feel about it, this one is less tethered to the real world. If used properly we can all enlarge our perspective and reach for new heights in ideas and plans. Allow your mind the freedom to aim for something new. Communications will flow and it will be easier to say whatÕs on your mind without fear or repression. This is a great day to travel, and any journey will open your consciousness and let new thoughts in. This is a good day for any creative venture. The mode of expression is less important than the desire to say something new and life affirming.
THE SUN CONJUNCTS MERCURY:
On Tuesday November 17th at 9:53 P.M. EST this combination will help us all communicate our inner most thoughts. Because this takes place in Scorpio much of what is said will have depth and come from a profound place. But that will also necessitate that we take responsibility for what we are saying. There wonÕt be anything superficial or vague, but rather most of us will dig deeply into any subject. That can produce some intense words and feelings, so be careful as you enter those conversations that you are ready to face whatever truths are being spoken. You wonÕt be able to skirt an issue or get away with shallow or phony replies. Others will notice and demand a real answer.
NEPTUNE DOES DIRECT:
On Wednesday November 18th at 11:32 A.M. EST this confusing planet changes direction. When a planet is in retrograde it tends to internalize the energy that it represents. Neptune has much to do with our fantasies and illusions. When it first goes direct those issues come to the surface more readily and we often are forced to examine them with more scrutiny. Neptune also rules the arts. When it was in retrograde many creative ventures were dealt with internally. Now it is time to present your songs, books, pictures, etc to a waiting world. But donÕt worry. Since art is a matter of integrating the internal with the external, the process now is to make sure that integration takes place in a positive and growth-oriented way. To paint in a room is one thing. To present those works to the world can be quite another. The best art represents that artistÕs intent, but in a way that others can relate to it. That is what is going on now. Listen to your friends, editors, and critics. They may be giving you some very good advice that can deeply improve your work.
MERCURY ENTERS SAGITTARIUS:
On Friday November 20th at 2:44 P.M. EST the planet of communication enters this Jupiter ruled sign. Sagittarius is all about growth and expansion. Our ideas may have become somewhat stifled while Mercury traveled through Scorpio. Now itÕs time to take off the blinders and allow your ideas, thoughts, and communication more room for change. While Mercury is here for the next three weeks travel of all sorts will be positive and freeing. Physical treks give the intellect motion and motivation. So try to explore some new and alien places. (Perhaps a weekend on Mars?) DonÕt put too many limitations on your ideas. Get out and see the world. You will find that your mind has a need to roam, so give it space to meander where it will.
VENUS SQUARES PLUTO:
Also on Friday November 20th at 8:59 P.M. EST this intense square will demand that we view our relationships in a deep and honest fashion. ItÕs easy to fall into a rut with someone and continue to replicate the same situations and resolutions over and over again. This transit will seek out new ways of dealing with old issues, although the solutions may not be particularly easy. You may find that you or your partner is acting in a rather unbending manner. ThatÕs because things may have reached a point where continuing on the same path will only bring you to the same end. Sometimes stubbornness can actually lead to change, especially if you have exhausted other options. Power struggles are common when Pluto is involved, but donÕt shy away from a confrontation if the potential rewards are sufficient. Some relationships that have outlived their usefulness will end. But others may discover a new enlightening approach to old problems and feel reborn.
THE SUN ENTERS SAGITTARIUS:
On Sunday November 22nd at 10:26 A.M. EST we enter this most optimistic of signs. This is often a time of year when we are all somewhat unconstrained and freer. I find the placement of holidays within their respective signs to be remarkably correct. Thanksgiving, the most gluttonous of celebrations fits perfectly into Sagittarius, the sign with the least respect for limitations and boundaries. Also, while Christmas (which, lest we forget, is a religious holiday) falls in reserved Capricorn, the shopping season is mostly in Sagittarius. We travel, eat, and spend more at this time of year than at any other. In fact, the most difficult aspect of this sign is to learn the lessons of borders and constraint. The better we handle restrictions the more focused our growth will be. Enjoy this month. We will have plenty of time to rue our decisions while the Sun transits through stogy old Capricorn. For now, get out and see the world. All the colorful lights, the store decorations, and people wishing each other a happy holiday can have a very uplifting effect on the spirit.
VENUS OPPOSES URANUS:
On Monday November 23rd at 5:13 P.M. EST our attitude towards relationships will take a decidedly radical turn. Because of the Uranus – Pluto square, the inner planets will aspect both of them in short order. Whatever decisions you may have made about an ongoing connection a few days ago while Venus was in square to Pluto can be put into action now. Some people will be surprised by the reactions of their partners, especially if they have been unaware of any difficulties within the relationship. ItÕs time for change. If something is still valid it will be altered from within. If itÕs not, it may end altogether. This is a very flirty aspect, and many quick encounters of the close kind will be triggered. If youÕre looking for excitement, this is the day for it. But donÕt assume anything is stable or secure. This often manifests as a temporary attraction that is short lived. If you are drawn to someone you meet now, I would give it at least a few days to see if your feelings change. If they donÕt, you may have an exciting escapade ahead of you. In any case, this isnÕt a day to spend sitting in front of a computer. You should get out and look for adventure in all things. Take in a new art form, choose a completely different restaurant, and chat with unusual people. Stimulate your imagination anyway you can. If you are an artist, perhaps you should attempt a new direction in your work.
MARS SEXTILES SATURN:
On Tuesday November 24th at 12:19 A.M. EST this very useful and functional aspect will allow us all an opportunity to direct our energy where it can do the most good. A good connection between ego-ruled Mars and reality ruled Saturn can have a very powerful and positive result. This is a very realistic and directed force that will give focus to our energy and help plan a clear path to our objectives. Egos will be easier to handle, and we will tend not to waste the energy we have, but present it in useful and conscientious ways. This isnÕt a flamboyant aspect, and it may not be a great day for a date. But itÕs very positive for all work situations and we can get a lot accomplished.
MERCURY SQUARES NEPTUNE:
On Wednesday November 25th at 2:15 A.M. EST this confusing transit will create some difficult and overwhelming situations. DonÕt take things at face value. Not everyone is being honest or direct. ItÕs very easy to misunderstand someone, or for them to pull the wool over your eyes, as they say. Double check everything. If something seems too good to be true, look into it before agreeing. Travel and communication can be very difficult. Misdirection can result in mistakes, miscommunications, and errors in judgment. If youÕre traveling you must make sure you know where youÕre going. Check the gas, tires, flight itinerary, and directions. You could easily read something as 10 A.M. when itÕs actually 10 P.M. Our modern society isnÕt immune to old problems and mistakes. This may be a weird day in the stock markets. World events may be confusing and result in errors just as our personal lives can. Mercury will sextile Mars later this morning, which may help a bit. But this square is more powerful and its effects will be felt all day. Since many Americans will be traveling today, leave extra time and double check everything. There will be accidents, mistakes, and miscommunication all over the place. Normally I wouldnÕt travel on this day before Thanksgiving for anything. This year it will be even more awful than usual. So be prepared. Bring reading material and maybe something to help you relax. The Full Moon is also today, so you can certainly expect some intensity and challenges to your plans. A dangerous situation is certainly possible involving transportation.
MERCURY SEXTILES MARS:
Also on Wednesday November 25th at 11:32 A.M. EST this positive sextile may help clear up some of the confusion the Mercury square Neptune created early in the morning. People will be more direct in their speech and wish to aim their attention at constructive and active events. But there will still be a bit of a fog over things. So donÕt assume that everything you hear is the truth. A bit of skepticism can be very helpful at times. This is a good day to deal with paperwork or any tedious mental chore. But keep in mind that the residue of that square to Neptune is still in effect and you must make sure you are clear about the information and your goals.
This monthÕs lunar peak occurs on Wednesday November 25th at 5:44 P.M. EST at 03 degrees Gemini 20 minutes. Because Gemini is ruled by Mercury, and that planet is in the opposite sign of Sagittarius and experiencing quite a bit of activity at the moment, we can expect serious difficulties in communications and travel. This is the day before Thanksgiving, when more Americans travel than any other day of the year. That fact alone can cause trouble. With the aspects that are completing today, expect the unexpected. Often this Full Moon will result in mistake and misdirection. And because Mercury was in square to Neptune this morning I anticipate some rather intense actions. As always I suggest you back up your important documents and I would wait a day or so before finalizing anything that can be delayed. You may not have all the information you need, and that which you do have could be mistaken. Travel will be intense. If you are prepared, calm, and double check everything, it may be a great trip. But if you are distracted or not as clear as you think you are, there may be problems. Because this precedes tomorrowÕs Saturn – Neptune square the stock markets may take a tumble as we enter the holiday weekend. Whether it happens now or next Monday is the question. I would suggest playing things cautiously and waiting to see if the equities get hit, and if so, how bad it looks. I donÕt suggest jumping in and out of the markets. ThatÕs a good way to get crushed in the waves of trading. Only day-traders should react that way. But I wouldnÕt add to my position until that aspect passes.
SATURN SQUARES NEPTUNE:
On Thanksgiving Thursday November 26th at 7:18 A.M. EST this intense and powerful aspect finally completes for the first time. IÕve been writing about this for the past year in anticipation of its actuation. This square will create a lot of confusion, and it may be difficult to clear out the fog Neptune can create. Family issues may be very powerful, as Saturn has much to do with the past, and with our attachment to it, While Neptune really doesnÕt care much about what we call reality. It is more interested in the spiritual or ethereal side of things. The combination could bring up issues that we thought were long ago resolved. This week will be very confusing. Travel will be even more of a mess than usual at this time of year. Sunday the Sun conjuncts Saturn and squares Neptune (see below), so keep that in mind when making your plans for the holiday weekend. That will be a very tough day in a lot of ways. If possible I suggest you travel home on Saturday or Monday. If not, go into it with patience and a sense of humor. You may be stuck on a train outside of Baltimore or Cleveland for hours. This energy will prevail into next week. As I said above, the equity markets may take a bad hit. Play things with a cautious perspective and wait to see how the stocks react to this aspect.
THE SUN SQUARES NEPTUNE:
On Sunday November 29th at 9:50 A.M. EST the Sun will set off the Saturn – Neptune square with an aspect to each. This will be another difficult day. Many things may go askew, and the underlying energy will be low. DonÕt expect to be as peppy as usual. With Saturn in square to Neptune on Thanksgiving Day this will be an interesting holiday weekend. Expect many challenges to your preconceived notions about family, the past, and your future plans. They will be tested and tugged in several directions. If you donÕt understand something ask for clarity. That is the best way to handle Neptune. Although you may still not get an honest or direct answer, at least you will have tried.
THE SUN CONJUNCTS SATURN:
Also on Sunday November 29th at 7:16 P.M. EST this low energy transit completes. This will not be an easy day, and coming at the end of the Thanksgiving weekend it may create a harsh and uncomfortable atmosphere. DonÕt push things today. Take it easy and try to avoid confrontation. Of course since many of us will be with family and will travel later in the day that may not be easy to do. Saturn brings up the past, and Neptune creates confusion and misunderstandings. You do the math. If you have to travel, do so with a good attitude. You can expect delays and confusion, and you must double check everything. Call ahead to see if your train, plane, or automobile is running late.
MERCURY TRINES URANUS:
On Tuesday December 1st at 9:00 A.M. EST thoughts, ideas, and communication will be lively and energetic. Enlightening thoughts may come to many. You should seek out new things and not stick to the tried and true. This isnÕt powerful enough to create a revolution, but it may give you a new perspective on things and help find innovative ways of dealing with old problems. Travel will be interesting and even a short journey may expand your consciousness and help you see things from a new angle. Any important conversation should go well, especially this morning. This energy will wane after noon, so try to take advantage of it early.
MERCURY SQUARES JUPITER:
On Friday December 4th at 7:52 A.M. EST this interesting square completes. This is a very lively and energetic mental force that could either bring you some new thoughts, or blow things out of proportion. How you handle it will decide. Use some care in your communications this morning. ItÕs easy to overstate your case or act in an arrogant or demanding way. Jupiter can be overbearing and expect too much. That is its biggest fault. But while thoughts and ideas may come quickly and even overwhelm you, the amount of information being projected offers an opportunity to examine some different points of view. Keep things in perspective and this can be a very positive and useful aspect. Caution is called for in travel primarily because of the overabundance of mental energy. It can be distracting, which may result in accidents or misunderstandings.
VENUS ENTERS SCORPIO:
Also on Friday December 4th at 11:15 P.M. EST Venus enters its detriment in this Mars-ruled sign for the next 3 ½ weeks. There is intensity to this placement that often responds in a black-or-white manner. There is little room for compromise, and our feelings can become too deep to bring to the surface. DonÕt assume you understand why someone reacting the way they are. You must prod and bring their true feelings to light. Even if you wish to express you inner most thoughts and emotions, it may be quite difficult to do so. Venus will remain in this sign until December 30th and the holiday season may be rough on these that tend to be more emotional. Keep in mind that many people are feeling a lot of emotions and act accordingly. If possible let things go that arenÕt worth fighting about. YouÕll be happy you sidestepped the issues, and wonÕt be giving up much. It will allow you to focus your attention on the more important things.
THE SUN SEXTILES MARS:
On Sunday December 6th at 5:14 A.M. EST this positive and active aspect will add a jolt of energy to most everything we do. This is a very good transit for getting things done and working with others. There is a feeling that our objectives are of mutual concern to us all. However, with Mars in square to Pluto today as well (see below) there will be an underlying sense of struggle and frustration as the day goes by. If you have something important to discuss you should try to get to it early in the day. By noon that harsher transit will be applying in earnest and it will be more difficult to find compromise.
MARS SQUARES PLUTO:
Also on Sunday December 6th at 3:47 P.M. EST this hard and potentially precarious aspect will complete. Power struggles and frustrating event are common when these two are in conflict. DonÕt take on any battles that you can avoid. But if something is important enough to deal with, you will be better off facing it head on and standing up for your point of view. If possible put off any confrontation until tomorrow. But if you canÕt, donÕt assume you can find compromises that satisfy each side. This is a tug-of-war that could involve any issues or situations that havenÕt been dealt with. Now they must be. The one most psychologically prepared for the battle will win.
THE SUN TRINES URANUS:
On Tuesday December 8th at 9:38 P.M. EST this exciting and innovative transit will allow us to experience life in a new and untried manner. Experiment and look for something original and inventive. Take in some form of art that is different from your usual taste. Give yourself the opportunity to explore new avenues of expression and ideas. If someone suggests something a bit radical, think about it before dismissing it out of hand. DonÕt worry. This isnÕt a powerful enough aspect for radicalism and you wonÕt be tempted to try anything that is too outrageous. But a fresh perspective never hurt, and you might discover that you enjoy something you have never tried before.
MERCURY ENTERS CAPRICORN:
On Wednesday December 9th at 9:35 P.M. EST Mercury enters this restrictive Saturn-ruled sign. Mercury will enter Aquarius briefly and then retrograde back in Capricorn in early January, so except for a few days we will be dealing with this placement pretty much until February 14th when it finally goes into Aquarius again. This isnÕt a bad place for Mercury, itÕs just that it wonÕt have as free a hand as it likes. Actually the combination of Mercury and Saturn can be very affective and useful for many issues. If there is work that requires attention you will have the patience to examine it carefully. We are less likely to err from distractions, or stretch our mental capacity to the breaking point. While this can be frustrating to the quick thinker, there are times when even the fastest mind must slow down and take stock in what is happening. If you use this placement with care and patience you can accomplish a lot of hard work. Travel may not be as much fun as usual, and you may find that you are forced to journey for business or responsibilities more than for pure pleasure. Because Mercury will be in this sign through the Holiday Season you should plan your communications and travel carefully.
MARS OPPOSES URANUS:
On Thursday December 10th at 8:30 P.M. EST this potentially explosive transit will come along. At its best this will be a day of unusual and exciting events and interactions. Certainly nothing will be boring or dull. But it can also be upsetting and people many may have a short fuse. Try to avoid any confrontations. If youÕre feeling angry you should not get behind the wheel of a car. If this sets off your own chart and you feel the pressure it can cause, you need to be aware of your feelings and try not to let them get the better of you. It would also be wise to avoid others who may be angry or projecting the desire for a fight. Let the other guy into your lane without getting into a road rage hassle. It really isnÕt that important to get where youÕre going ten seconds earlier. But of course that reaction is what makes this an aspect worth watching. You donÕt need to prove anything, and if you let your ego take control you will feel as though you must stand up for the most mundane things, which can lead to difficult interactions.
VENUS TRINES NEPTUNE:
On Friday December 11th at 1:14 A.M. EST this creative and inspired aspect completes. Because this occurs so early in the morning hours its effects will be felt the night before. Once that Mars opposite Uranus completes at 8:30 this trine will have the chance to make itself known. Creative sorts may find inspiration tonight, and you could have a breakthrough on that song, painting, or story. This isnÕt a very powerful transit, but the subtlety of its energy is exactly what itÕs all about. This can be a spiritual or romantic evening as well. But do pay attention to the lingering force from the Mars – Uranus opposition. That is the more powerful of the two. If you can use the force of that aspect combined with the creativity of this one you may be able to focus your attention onto something wonderful.
DARK OF THE MOON:
The next New Moon falls on Friday December 11th at 5:29 A.M. EST at 19 degrees Sagittarius 03 minutes. The day or two leading up to it will be a particularly low energy period. If you tend to be emotional this may be a very trying time each month. I have found that people with prominent moons or a Cancer Sun, Moon or ascendant respond to the cycles of the moon more intensely than others. Spend this time finishing up anything that is incomplete, donÕt try to initiate new projects on a waning moon, it just wonÕt work out. Once the New Moon hits you begin new projects or attempt a new approach to an existing problem. If you have been living in a situation or involved in a relationship that is intolerable or has outlived its usefulness this would be the proper time to move on with your life. If you have been working on a project that is almost complete but you seem to lack the energy for the finality, you must push during these low energy days to end the matter once and for all. If you donÕt, when the New Moon arrives it will bring this ÒdeadÓ energy along with it and conflict with the newer force being presented. Each month we are offered a chance to clean house, so to speak.
Note: All aspects are most powerful and effective as they apply. Once the transit has completed, its force is lessened. The further it separates the weaker it becomes.
Below is a list of times this month when the Moon is Void of Course and neither important decisions nor purchases should be made during these periods. The Void of Course Moon is a time when we should try to center ourselves and deal with spiritual matters not materialistic ones. Any decisions made on the VC Moon will not turn out the way we had expected.
The Moon is Void of Course from the time it makes its last major aspect in a sign until it enters the next sign. For example, if the Moon squares Mars at 27 degrees Aries and then has no more aspects until it enters Taurus it will be Void of Course for three degrees or about 6 hours. The aspects used are the conjunction, sextile, square, trine, and opposition. All times are Eastern Standard Time:
Please note: In response to requests from readers I have added a few VOC Moons into the next lunar cycle for those who need to make plans before my next newsletter is released.
